PACKAGE CONTENTS
================

Top-level commands
------------------
1 - Install XP Task Pane.cmd
Installs/registers the pane, watcher, helper, and clean settings.

2 - Apply XP Drive Appearance.cmd
Hides extra drive metadata and backs up the previous per-user TileInfo value.

Repair XP Task Pane.cmd
Re-copies and re-registers the public beta without erasing preferences.

Restore Windows Drive Appearance.cmd
Restores the drive TileInfo state captured before command 2.

Uninstall XP Task Pane.cmd
Removes registration, startup entries, settings, installed files where
possible, and restores the captured drive appearance.

Task Pane
---------
XPExplorerInProcessTest.dll
The registered in-process Explorer bar bridge.

XPTaskPane-Embedded.exe
  The isolated Task Pane renderer/broker.

XPTaskPaneWindowWatcher.exe
Watches newly opened Explorer windows and restores the intended pane state.

XPDriveTitleCenter.exe
Wakes and centers title-only drive tiles without moving the real mouse.

Assets\
All artwork used by the Task Pane, plus the approved ribbon logo as a
reference asset. No external XP system files, installation media, or
  developer profile is required.

The installer always copies this payload to:

C:\Program Files\XP Task Pane for File Explorer

The ribbon-corner mod is self-contained and embeds its approved logo. It does
not depend on this installation path.

Windhawk Mods
-------------
1 - Explorer XP Solid Selection.wh.cpp
2 - Explorer Ribbon XP Corner.wh.cpp

These are source files for custom local Windhawk mods. They are not combined
and are not automatically installed by the Task Pane installer.

The ribbon source is the in-process DirectComposition 1.0.0 release. It embeds
the approved logo, attaches on Explorer's real ribbon-owner thread, catches
new and rebuilt ribbon docks, avoids conflicting with the required catalog
mod's ribbon-selection hook, and contains an in-process NetUI fallback.

Source
------
The source used to create the Task Pane, watcher, bridge, and drive helper is
included for inspection and continued development. Normal users do not need
to compile anything in this folder.
